A couple of weeks ago I was taking my sons for a walk on the beach by my parents house while my husband was working on his thesis at home. To make it more fun we started searching for treasure in the form of sea glass, and we found a lot! My 4 year old had a blast!
When we got home I placed them in a jar in the windowsill of my sewing room and wondered what to do with them, when suddenly one morning I got an idea!
I could use them to make fashion illustration! Combining drawing, collage, recycling, fashion design and creativity in general this was the perfect mixed media project for me 🙂 Not long after I came up with this I thought it would be great to mix it with some of my fabric scraps, so I re-drew the template and played around a bit, and here is some of the results!
I really like these and consider actually glueing and framing some. Let me know if you’d like to buy one 😉
