The theme for this day in the “gifted? a design a day” competition was “Friends”

I realise this is very similar to my “cute as a button” entry, but I simply ran out of time.. my initial plan was to make a drawing of two old ladies sitting on a bench somewhere looking at the moon (my 92 year old grandmother and her 90 year old sister do this regularly).
