Here’s a discharge/flocking print I did this fall in the first stages of our final collection project. It’s quite hard to capture here but the flocking creates a nice texture on the fabric 🙂 The fabric is a wonderful soft wool with a little bit of stretch that I purchased in Goldhawk road last year and dyed myself using dylon and omega dyes, a combination of citron yellow, sunflower yellow, pebble stone and leaf green and ocean blue.
The motif is made up of the outlines of the head of a moth, put into a circular repeat in different sizes to create what looks like a floral.Â
