I am currently doing an internship with the designer Charlotte Taylor in London and she has recently opened her first ever pop-up shop! I started just in time to get to help out and experience all of it. I’ve been running errands, cleaning, ironing, shopping, sewing curtains for the changing room picture above and I made some paper mache penguin heads for the mannequins, and other random stuff that needs to be done! (Now that the opening is over I’m doing other stuff too, like today I’ve been drawing flats for an upcoming resort collection) Yesterday was the presslaunch for the popup shop and it was a great night with cannapes, live music, drinks, jelly shots, models, socialites and of course a lot of great clothes! If you live in the London area you should stop by some day! It’s located at 54 Sloane Square. Charlotte Taylors designs are truly inspired and you won’t find anything like it anywhere else. The prints are colourful, fun and playful, on quality tailored clothing, making it a perfect combination of quirky and sophisticated. Her pieces are easy to style and they are suitable for almost any age!
Here are some pictures I took on the day as well as some photos from Tatler
