Topshop – Best of British

The Brief asked for a mini-collection for Topshop AW 13/14 inspired by all things British.

As a foreigner living in England I found details in the urban environment that tourists might not notice and locals won’t consider as special and allowed this to inspire me. (The way they paint their houses in different colours dividing columns etc in two, the small flowers growing out of cracks in the many brick walls, the patterns created by row upon row of narrow brick houses.) I was also very influenced by the trend predictions on WGSN as TOPSHOP always needs to be on trend.
